I’m speaking tomorrow evening at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, as part of a discussion on ICT for Smart Cities. I’ll be talking about the past, present and future of DIYcity and what I see as the role of entrepreneurs and startups in shaping the “smart city” of the future.
With me will be Ben Berkowitz of SeeClickFix and Nick Grossman of Open Plans, both of whom I’m a big fan of. Between the three of us, I expect a lively discussion about how the Open City, or the Smart City, or whatever you’re calling it, is shaping up and what the next few years look like for it.
(And I’m excited – haven’t done a talk like this in a year.)
The information on the discussion is here. If you can make it, come on by.
